You work alongside retailers and commercial property owners, from footfall analysis to the signing of the lease.

About the role
We are looking for a consultant to manage retail mandates: from high street units and shopping centre premises to retail parks and mixed-use commercial schemes. The role involves working directly with expanding retailers and with landlords looking for tenants, in leasing and, occasionally, sale transactions.
You will build and maintain long-term relationships with both sides, assess the commercial potential of each location and lead negotiations through to signing. It is a position suited to someone who knows how to read a retail location and takes ownership of a mandate from the first viewing to completion.
Responsibilities
- Managing retail leasing mandates for high street units, shopping centre premises and retail parks.
- Representing retailers in their expansion and commercial property owners in identifying suitable tenants.
- Analysing footfall, pedestrian and car traffic flows and the profile of the area for each location.
- Preparing presentation materials, rent estimates and relevant market comparables.
- Negotiating commercial terms and coordinating the parties through to signing.
- Maintaining an up-to-date record of the portfolio and market opportunities.
Requirements
- At least two years of experience in real estate advisory, retail or B2B sales.
- Understanding of a location’s commercial dynamics and the indicators that influence a retailer’s decision.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills, with tenants and landlords alike.
- Rigour in working with data, contracts and deadlines.
- Category B driving licence and availability for field visits.
- Professional working proficiency in English.
